Dennis Giffin retired in 1994, after a 20-year career in investigations and law enforcement in New York State. In 1996, Dennis’s first book, The Morgue, was published. Since then Dennis has authored and co-authored numerous titles.
Dennis has served as co-host of the popular Blog Talk Radio show Crime Wire and hosts The Transparency Project Radio Show, he has been a consultant to the Vegas Mob Tour, and is currently speaker coordinator for Mob-Con. Dennis is an active member of the Wednesday Warrior Writers, Public Safety Writers Association and GLAWS.
Staying true to his passion for justice, in 2017 Dennis founded the Facebook group The Transparency Projects, dedicated to helping the survivors of victims of murder and suspicious deaths obtain records from the various governmental agencies tasked with investigating their cases.
